The Doyle Academy
of Irish Dance was founded by three sisters, Tanya, Lindsay and
Shannon Doyle. We have been teaching Irish Dance in the
Kitchener-Waterloo area for over ten
years.
We offer dance
classes from the beginner to championship level and we
are certified to teach Irish Dance through An Coimisun Le
Rinci Gaelacha in Dublin, Ireland. As teachers, we are
committed to providing a strong technical foundation and
performance excellence.
We are
uniquely positioned to offer this level of
training to our students. We are each accomplished
dancers who hold Canadian, North American and World
titles. We have also danced
professionally, including on Broadway in New York City
with Riverdance the Show.
The dancers of
the Doyle Academy have demonstrated excellence in the competitive
world of Irish Dance and we are extremely proud to be the teachers
of three current Canadian Champions and the current North American
Champion of Irish Dance.
What sets us
apart from other dance schools is our small class sizes, high
student to teacher ratio and focus on individual needs.
It is our
collective goal to enhance individual development by providing a
nurturing environment, which inspires each dancer to their best
effort and greatest accomplishments.
We believe that
performing in the art of dance provides a child with
self-confidence and an inner pride that translates into all aspects
of life.
